I didn't have any local Snowy Owls to photograph. So, on my way to vacation in warm Arizona, I stopped in Washington, and drove to Ocean Shores. At the end of Damon Point in Ocean Shores, there are suppose to be eleven Snowy Owls. I didn’t know ahead of time that it was a two mile hike to the end of the point. That is a long ways for an old man with flat feet, sore legs. It was worth the hike, I photographer at least five different Snowys yesterday. I would have gone again today but it is too dark and rainy. But, I did add the Snowys to my life list. I would still like to go to Alaska’s north slop, see them nesting on the tundra some day.
