Hello -

About 6 months ago I had a landscape company plant about a dozen “Tea Olive” shrubs along my fence line. I live in Los Angeles (zone 10b).

After a few months they all started browning on the tips of the leaves. I attributed this to a hot, dry summer and the fact they receive quite a bit of afternoon sun. They are watered by a drip line.

Temperatures have cooled off and we have received quite a bit of rainfall, however they don’t seem to be recovering. They are flowering but the leaves are still burnt at the tips and they are thin in terms of leaf coverage.

Any ideas on what the issue may be and what I can do to improve their health/look?
