It was 71 degrees yesterday and the high today will be in the low 50s. We are suppose to get rain but looks like snow clouds. A little windy but not has bad as they predicted. Our low is now projected for 36 degrees. Moved up from 30.

Gardener came by yesterday and pruned back all of my roses. Time of year in the desert to trim, spray with dormant spray and then feed in mid February.

Vern and I are finally over whatever we had.

Karen, I try to do everything I need to do on my one trip out a week. I buy some things on Amazon because it is easier than leaving the house. My daughter makes my Costco run. Saves me a lot of money because I do not buy any instant gratification items.

Betty, how are you feeling?

The rash on my face was really bad this morning. Started when I got the cold. Yesterday you could see it under the skin, very lightly. This morning it had surfaced and looked red and mad. It doesn\'t hurt or itch but does not look good.

First and third photos are of my face on each side near the cheek bone. Middle photo is the last bouquet of roses left in the garden before trimming.

No help on Saturday night so Vern gets to stay up late. I am going to make asparagus soup for dinner. Maybe cornbread or biscuits.
