Yeah buddy. We were still 1 degree short of last year's record of 118! Yesterday was 113 and at 5:00 when the sun started to set it was 111. Today is supposed to be "normal August temps" for all week of 108-106. Like I said we don't cry and whine here unless it gets above 110 or below 85.
Only stinks end of May- mid Oct. So I'll take yucky for 4.5 months and 6.5 glorious 50 degree days in January-80 degree days in May-June with NO HUMIDITY and lots of sun. Tradeoffs.

So how you doing today? Feeling good?
I've been o.k. so far. :D

Oh...here's a picture of a tumble weed I had been telling Jim about! And a few more desert stuff :D

pic #1 & 2 : tumble weed!
Pic #3 little lizards that get up on my garden wall. They climb on them and around them and hang upside down and can walk sideways. I forget what they're called but they're cute and fast and little. This one looks huge because we used a zoom lens on it. If Zoe can get one she finds them tasty.
Pic #4. Mr. Chipmunk that gets into my garden on occasion. Cute little guy
Pic #5 Garden critter Zoe (in yellow racing slick; head down) and friend at the "Greyt" gathering. It's like Woodstock for Grey hound owners.
