I cut my Phlox back a bit and they put out fresh blooms.

I want to show you this amazing Giant Purple Amaranth.
It self-sowed from a seed from last year. Amazing! The seed is half the size of
a Poppy Seed.....

1--Still growing--in July

2--The blooms now fully open at the top

3--Took this last week-..It measured 8 1/2 feet tall. I am 5'7" with long arms....
