Apparently, it had laid some eggs on the ground in our plot and was trying to protect them. We left the eggs undisturbed and hopefully it will come back and tend to them but she stayed in the area the whole time we were there. I was wondering what type of bird it was. When it spread its wings, there was a burnt orange color on the tips of them. There's a pic of the eggs too. |
