MonkeyFlower wrote: I've had my paddle plant for almost a year. I planted it in a ceramic shallow pot, about 11 inches diameter, and it has been doing very well. I have now noticed that it is growing new plants from the stem. Will the current pot be big enough? I don't really wish to repot into a larger container as it would then be too heavy to carry. My plants are in my balcony and I sometimes need to move them around. Is there any way I can maybe propagate into new plants? Also, will the antenna-like flower stem eventually fall off? This plant was full of surprises as when I bought it, I had no idea that it would produce those little flowers. According to searches on the internet, I thought it was supposed to produce one large flower at the top (bell-like). Thank you for your help. |
