The latger ones sit on a multi-tiered plant stand under my patio roof and get a smidge of the afternoon sun. I leave them all out even when the weather gets colder--like in the low 50's. By the time I bring them in--they all have bloom buds on the leaf tips. By now--all mine are done blooming. I need to stop watering them so much-- as, I believe, they need a "rest" period after blooming. Still watering, though... Now is also time to take end cuttings (at least 2 segments) to root. That is how I have started all mine...The will root--and, maybe, bloom about a year or two. Depending on how much they have grown. Here are all my smaller CC's by my front door. Pic. #1&2 Pic. #3 is of all the CC's JB sent me in that big box. I have re-potted them here... Cross my heart and hope to.............whatever.........I will NOT root any more CC's... ...So she says.........This house looks like a jungle already. Gita |
