Garden Pests and Diseases: Brown Scaly Spots On Kalanchoe, 2 by clsciaba

Could it be some insect?
I don't know what to do and I really don't want my plant to die. Since these spots have been appearing, it seems as though the plants growth has been slowing down which is worrisome.
