I have a recently purchased (from Ikea) fiddle leaf fig. Unsurprisingly, it came home a little worse for the wear -- rust like powder and black blotches. You could tell the plants were crowded and watered from the top.

As a result, once I pruned off the bottom dying leaves, things looked pretty good. (See first picture.)

But then the leaves small black spot started to really bother me, and I couldn't tell if they were growing or if it was just my imagination. Regardless, I got rid of 2, but now, I'm trying to figure out if I need to get rid of the rest of them? (Please see remaining picture.) I'd really rather not -- the plant is already looking a little lopsided. :(

Notes: The plant sits near a window and gets plenty of sun each and every day. It's in a glass container, which I realize is a no-no, but there's a full 3 inches of gravel on the bottom of the container for drainage, and I can see that there is healthy and happy aggressive root growth.

Thank you for any advice you can offer!
