That double ditch Lily looks very much like 2 I have....I call these my Stump Lily--
just so you know in case you read some other Post....
These growright behind my concrete Bird bath and on both sides of the split rail fence
that borders my "YUK" bed....It is also the end of my property.

These Lilies have been there forever--and I THINK I remember that, at one time,
they were just single blooms. Now they are gorgeous!!! I also have these in my long side bed
whish gets full sun all day. I must have planted a few bulbs of these--there--as I don't remember
(I say that a lot--but--I forget WHY?...:o) that they were there 2 years ago.
These 3 Lilies gad the biggest, lushest leaves I have ever seen!!! And the bloom stalks were
4' tall. Mamma Mia! The flower is similar to yours and also to my other ones.

I am soooo interested that you grew the Ascilepsis from seed!!!
--Did you seed it directly in the bed last year?
--Did it come up this spring and grew big enough to bloom???

I have always wanted this plant--but right now--I would not have a place for it.
I have stuffed my beds full od annuals--just go look at the July Blooms Thread here.
If you plan to come to the seed Swap next year--I will take some seeds.

Here are the Lily pictures. They are too pretty to be "DItch Lilies".
1-&-2 my Stump Lilies--Very similar--just a tad of difference in the orange patterns in the bloom
3&4--The liliies in my S. bed with the tall stems. has to be the same lily--and I planted it...
