Fantastic growin! What a flower.
And thank you for the link. Fascinating read about the hardy banana. You've given me hope in planting the F 'Gartenmeister Bonstedt' (not that I have one, but I was thinking about it for next year). The lady at the garden centre advised me not to plant it as it would probably die, unless we had an unusually mild winter. Another lady told me to buy anything I want, just put the fuchsia pot in the ground and then remove it and store it when it gets too cold. However, I would prefer the plant have a permanent home outside.

Ok, I'm cheating. The first pic is the fuchsia down the street. I thought it only right it be enjoyed by many. It is 5' high and 6' wide. F. Magellanica Aurea. The second pic is mine. lol. It was outside, in a pot, for weeks, and no deer touched it. It started budding and I planted it, and it immediately got stripped of its buds. All my planted baby fuchsia got haircuts :/

Oh! And I found the tag belonging to my hanging unknown fuchsia, and the very descriptive tag says it's a "Fuchsia". However, I did a little digging into the company and their mail order supply, and I think I may have Marinka.
