Luck you! They are dissiduous not evergreen and are blooming now. They also have some fragrance.
Saw the blooms on display at my local Farmers Market on Sat. The Amer Rhod Society had about 50+ blooms on display. I was really attracted to the wild ones. Below are pics of my take home bouquet of blooms with a wild white to the left and a wild pink (just like yours) to the left. I hope the cats around will start dragging this in instead of moles, voles, cicadas, birds, etc which they leave on my back steps for me as a reminder to feed them I suppose. Had one cat that would eat the mouse head and leave the body in my shoes! Gotta love all God's critters.
