The Impression tulips are supposed to come back for several years. I haven't planted Pink Impression in 2 years, and I have some blooms this year. The Sancere is a single late tulip that has now come back for the 3rd year, which I'm excited about. When I first started planting tulips, I was told that theywouldn't t come back in GA, that they'd rot due to our clay soil. I have mine in raised beds that have been amended, and the beds are also on a slant, due to the topography of the lot, which must help with drainage, and I've been lucky to have them come back for several years. I have La Courtine from 2 years ago, and Gudoschnick from 2011 also planted in the same area as Sancere, so I'll be interested to see if they come back as well.
