Interesting Judy - I'll have to remember that...however a plant stands to be in more trouble for lack of water in my house than anything else..LOL

Oh Holly - beautiful!! I've got the Orchid bug biting again as well. My p/t job had me down in Charlottesville this past weekend. This route literally has me driving past the driveway to an Orchid place that I love!! Heaven help me. I've set up the humidity thing as well - I have a tray with river rock and water but for the 4" pot I put it on an upside down shallow clay pot setting in one of those plastic saucers you put beneath plastic pots to catch extra water. The first pic with the white bloom is Cattleya walkeriana v. alba 'Pendentive' AM/AO (anyone know what those letters stand for?) which day time scent is similar to Tuberose (at least to me). The second pic is a Miltoniopsis that has a day time scent of lilac. Both have very strong (not over powering) scents that fill my small living room nicely w/their fragrance. Last pic is an African Violet that I picked up for a co-worker - isn't that bloom gorgeous? Almost lily like. I think I'm going to p/u the other one of these I saw and start some babies - propagating them doesn't appear too difficult.
