Gitagal wrote: Bec---What a wonderful "Album" of DG'ers!!! I had the same thought as pippi. ID'ing all the faces.... Whomever is good at doing this kind of a thing--maybe by editing and adding names-- PLEASE do so! Maybe someone could do a "Journal" type of memoir. I do not know about all that--but somewhere one could click on and have all these beautiful portraits with names attached---also--REAL names! Hope someone will try to do that.... pippi--I brought my camera--but it was not charged any more....Did not think to charge it up before I came....;o( Besides---I was not, really, in a mood to run around and take too many pictures. it was hot--and after all the swapping and eating was done--I spent quite a bit of time cutting up the bamboo and loading rocks into my car--with Ric's help. THANK YOU, Ric!!!!! They are all still in my car. have to decide where to put them..... Another chore for tomorrow....... Planted a couple of things today--but I had a long-ignored chore to do first. Spray my Roses (preventative) and my Canadian Hemlocks (soft, white scale)--and one of my old, white Azaleas covered in the same. I cut it back by 2/3'ds. Need to do the other one as well--not that it is infested--but to have the two look the same. They are each on a front corner of my house. BIG white blooms! OLD shrubs!!! Decades old! Also my Butterfly Bushes (spider mites) --and my neighbor's Roses. Used Neem with "Dawn" mixed in for all this. JB said that is what she uses on all her stuff. Good enough for me!!! Planted Jill's Peppers and RR's "Blushing Suzy" Vine. Also--all the Cannas I had been growing in pots. The rest will have to wait till tomorrow or Tuesday. Lots and lots to do! At least the Swap stress is over!!!! Glad that some of this is done!!!! Need to now feed my Roses. They are done with their 1st blooming. Holding my breath that there will be a second--and a third. All depends how much Black Spot thy all get... OK! Time to chill. Watch some TV. Have some Pizza....Drink some Wine......Perfect evening!!!! Gita #1--This is the one I cut back severely. Right time to do it. it will re-grow majestically--minus all the scale, i hope #2--SameAzalea--on my other corner of the house. |
