I think the only way to discourage the spammers is if they do some screening about who joins Davesgarden, like they do on Facebook groups. \"Name 3 quilt blocks\" or \"Send a picture of one of your embroidery projects\" are examples of screening I have had to subject before being allowed to join a group.

I dropped the first batch of comfort blankets off yesterday. 3 more stacks to go. I have stated \"baby\" blankets when really, they are \"comfort blankets\" as you can see from pic#2, there are flannels meant for older people as well. We just wanted to provide a small flannel blanket to be used by our police or fire departments when dealing with trauma victims at the time of the event.
