Garden Pests and Diseases: What is on my 4 o’clock leaves, 2 by firefly1399

Hi! I’ve been to the ask a gardener forum and the insect forum and now I’m here. I am growing 4 o’clocks from seed and some of the leaves have these white marks on them. Someone in the ask a gardener forum suggested it may be leaf miners and suggested I go to the insect forum and ask Flapdoodle for his thoughts. I did this and he said he does not think it looks like an insect issue and suggested maybe it is a disease or environmental process. Anyone know what this might be?? Thank you!
