Fatsilas wrote: Please help me figure out what\'s wrong with my superbum! I\'ve read all I can on this website and others, and asked multiple Facebook groups but no one even responds! So I\'m hoping someone here with expertise can help. I have had this superbum mounted since March and it\'s been doing great. I got it with the few browning parts along the edge so that\'s no worry. But recently the main frond has started wilting and hanging down. I of course watered it to see if it was thirsty. But no change. I water it about every 2 weeks by soaking it in water and I mist it multiple times a day. It\'s in my sun room which over the last month or so has been pretty hot, say up to 35°C but when it is that warm I open the windows and doors to get fresh breeze. There are other parts of the plant that are growing, I\'m not sure the correct terms but another frond is growing, and the little fuzzy circular bit on the bottom center has grown substantially since I got it. Any tips please! Is it too hot? Did I burn it? Could it be root rot, I don\'t think it\'s too wet... Could it be under watering? Is it normal? First pic is when I first mounted it back in March. Second pic is the sad drooping fronds. Third pic is of the new growth. Thank you! |
