Different plants have different light requirements. Specifics on that are covered in the book. You can use Amazon\'s Look Inside feature to see if that book might be something that would help you. These are current photos of part of my indoor growing setup using T8 fluorescent lighting on chrome steel shelving. I set my day length using timers on the lights.
