I planted some russet potatoes today. And a few just about dried up pieces of garlic. I am going to get some onion starts because I love young onions. I made some 8 bean soup today with a ham shank and OMG, i was delicious. Vern ate a small amount so I am going to give some to the caregiver tomorrow for her hubby. Do not want it to go to waste. We had rain again today and suppose to have snow tomorrow. Most of the ski resorts in California are empty because the snow is to heavy and to high to get the equipment in to clear the roads to allow traffic. Potatoes cut up and thrown on the ground. I cut them last night and let them calious over. Area after I dug and planted the slips. Black dirt compliments of my worms. |
