I\'m thinking of taking cuttings from the NBC and build a trellis or pergola on which the cactus can grow. Has anyone had success in growing a NBC on a structure, as opposed to letting it grow up into a 70\' tree? I don\'t want to lose it, as it has sentimental value. Unfortunately, the destruction begins in the next week or two, so I don\'t have a lot of time.
Any and all ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
