My sister planted an \'Autumn Brilliance\' Serviceberry two years ago, and last fall it started getting black lumpy growths on a few branches. It looks like black knot, but online research shows that only Plum, Prune, & Apricot Trees are susceptible. Can serviceberries also be affected? Or any other ideas of what this could be? Attached is a photo and closeup, but it\'s hard to see the growths due to the shadowing. Thanks for any help!
