These aren't completely faded yet, but I took this photo to show you another advantage of these - you can angle them into the ground at the end of the bed. Granted, they're still just cheap plastic, but they've worked well while I figure out what I really want to do with that bed. Perhaps you could buy the plastic edging, pound it all or almost all the way into the ground and then put your bricks on top of it or in front of it to hide it?
