I saw what looked like a large black fly in the fur just above her eyes. I pulled it out and threw in on the ground, and it immediately started attacking me, trying to sting me. I managed to reach a can of fly spray and used that. After a few minutes it fell into the mop bucket which contained water and bleach and died. It looks a little like a wasp as it has yellow and black rings round its abdomen, but instead of being of equal size, the yellow stripes are very thin while the black stripes are very wide. Also, its head is completely black. The first photo shows the underneath of the insect, and the second, the top of it. I wonder if anyone could identify it, please. |
