ok gals, on the 8th DG Annual Christmas workshop thread I was asked if as I went along I could post how to do them, some of you have d-mailed me your e-mail addy so I can send the face tracing so will do that but not likely until Monday, weekend is busy/busy (the normal)

as not to confuse our floormat workshop with snowman info I have started this thread..

so here is what I have so far..

bought large wine glasses at the $$$ store, however, many have some hiding in their cupboards and are never used so why not recycle.

there are two products that can be used to frost the wine glasses so that paint will adhere to it

know many of you will say "but there is glass paint" believe me doesn't work on what we are doing

I still have some folkArt glass & tile medium which I love, it's brushed on, can't find folk-art supplies around here so the gals that are doing it here bought Rust-Oleum frosted glass semi transparent spray..
need to spray outside because it does have an odor but does a great job..am sure if rust-oleum is unavailable in your area any spray that frosts glass would be fine..gives tooth so that regular craft paints can be used.

so off we go on another craft adventure
