Beginner Gardening: Canna Tip Turning Brown , 0 by SavvyDaze

The area is soft, not crispy at all. It receives early morning sun and then full sun from about 10am until about 1pm and filtered/dappled sun after that. No spidermites or other insects on the top or bottoms of the leaves as far as I can tell. Is it possible I am watering it too much or not good enough? Any ideas as to what is happening?
