This spring I planted a lovely little Hearts of Gold Red Bud tree. Recently it has gotten a lot of reddish irregular spots on many of the leaves. The spots turn brown after a while. Yhere are no rings or fuzzies.
The tree is planted in full sun ( shade after 3), I have watered it a lot, we have had a lot of rain. Could this be a fungus? A nutritional deficiency? A virus? Too much water? Too much sun?
Any advice on what to do would be greatly appreciated. I am a newbie to planting trees ...
