In the small, round bed that used to hold a Birch Tree--now only
holds my BIG pot that I plant full of stuff on top of the precarious remains
of what used to be the Birch stump.

You know how I give my beds names.....this one is called the "stump bed".
It is, maybe, 5'-6' in Diam.
Around the crumbling stump grows my spreading Euphorbia (not up yet)
but all around it I have these old, who-knows-what-kind of daffodils.
Some call them the "old fashioned ones"---some call them the "Heirloom ones'.

They are interesting....no shape or form to the blooms. Kind of....shredded....
I remember when we first moved in this house (1969), I saw them occasionally in the woods...
as if someone had dumped them there and they were growing...accidentally.....
I also know that I dug up a few of them and had them in my garden.
Don't know where or when??? But--it is possible that these may be their progeny.
They are blooming now--but i did not go outside to take pictures...these are from 2013.

I gave Terp some of these last year (?) or the year before...How are they doing, Paul??
