Fun!! Sending good vibes!

The good thing I've learned about our sudden transition to tropical rain forest this year is that hanging stuff is probably under something, at least a little, so less subject to drowning. Always knew I'd never have to go looking for hanging pots, the way others can get blown around in a storm. I've got almost 30 of them this year, but all ornamental stuff (in my eye.)

And you know, if that turvy isn't drying fast enough, I think it would withstand having a couple holes poked in the side. Do you have anything that propagates easily from cuttings? If so, you could then also stick stuff in those holes, to take root and help use the water.

I've done this ornamentally, but as a side-effect, they do dry more quickly. Perfect for someone who likes to give everybody a drink daily, and for those hanging exposed in this summer of every day rain.

See the holes in the sides? I'm in the process of filling all of them with stuff that has small stems, and propagates easily from just being snipped and stuck in the 'dirt.' Took these pics a few days ago. Thought that Hemigraphis (purple waffle plant) in the 2nd pic was a goner, but it's perked up!
