We rent the house we are in, with idiots for landlords in a lovely neighborhood. Besides, WHEN (almost said if/when) I finish my masters degree in the spring there is a very real chance we may leave this garden. -sigh-

It's particularly hard this year to fathom because my efforts at making a garden for wildlife are so successful that a neighbor jokes it's like a Disney cartoon ...is it Snow White where the critters are hopping around and helping her do her chores? We are particularly fond of the baby bunnies who have become young adults and whose mom a spent the winter behind the shed.
