"Critterologist" is a mouthful, too, so I generally go by "Critter." At swaps, it's actually hard to get my attention by hollering "Jill" -- but "hey Critter" works right away, LOL.

Hmmm... we could have a "name that Robin" contest... whomever comes up with a new DG name that you like gets an extra prize at the bulb party. It has to be something not already taken on the memberlist (and not just by adding a number at the end), so it will take some creativity. Are you in?

First suggestion: SpringBird (from "Robin" and "SilverSpring" -- "Silverbird" is taken)

As for Hyacinth 'Woodstock', it's one of my favorites, and mine have started petering out again... it's a fabulous beetroot color. The photo below was taken in full sun, giving it pinkish highlights... look at the center of the blooms... very nice, and it picks up those red/purple colors like Japanese painted fern stems, "purple" stemmed salvias, etc. I like it with 'Little Beauty' tulips (which I haven't found at a great price yet this year).
