Every year seems to be less and less attention given to plant or cultivar ID. I guess 'what sells' now is color or a look with little emphasis on what plant/species provides it. The lines are blurred between annuals and perennials and between sun and shade as if every potted plant on display will grow equally well any where for anyone! Well, maybe they do and I'm the old fossil exception. It is just such a bummer to me to see and be around mistreated plants.

Anyhow, below is a pic of another vase shaped Hosta I took this am out on my route.

Holly, that new shade bed by your road must be starting to come together pretty well now.
