This webbing reminds me of those webs I see in North Carolina that are supposedly for some kind of mites, although the outer parts of this web are more like a normal spider web. The spider itself doesn't even look like a spider, but when I blew on the web, it spread out its legs and then immediately went back to being all compact and stealthy. It looks like a dead moth when it's like that.

I can get more pics if a different kind would help. It's challenging because there's so much webbing around it that I can't get any closer to the spider, who is basically in the center.
