I checked the lilacs again and yep, they are lilacs, my hubby and I are keeping an eye on them. He is as anxious as I am(well maybe not as anxious) to see if they will bloom. This rain we are having is helping everything grow better. So when we can get a few pictures that are not blurry from the wind blowing we will post some pics of the leaves. If you zoom on this picture, you can see the leaves on the lower part of the plant really well.
