Morning girls...working from home today..have some quilting to do but I thought I just might start our project..paint takes a bit to dry so inbetween coats I can quilt..thank goodness for a lot of tables in my craft room..lol

Judy, at this point knowing you will likely want to do more, now would be a good time to trace these pieces while they are not together..trace from the side that I didn't take the chunks out with band saw so you can get a clearer marking..

**** VERY/VERY IMPORTANT..TAKE THE HEAD, THE THREE BODY PARTS, THE SHOES AND LINE THE HOLES THAT I've predrilled...
(thanks LindaKay for the heads up, almmost forgot your holes were all drilled..

hat you need out at this moment if the snowman head/hat, hat brim and boots

REMEMBER, you are painting the area that I cut slivers of wood off not the flat edge

Take the brim piece and at the curve where the santa head and hat meet put the brim where you would like it to be and mark it with a pencil..that way you will know where to paint the face and where to paint the hat

Photo 1: pieces you need out at this point

Photo 2: markings of the hat/face
