It will be 2 - 3 years before we are finished and ready to move in. Why so long? Neither one of us want to take a loan out right now, not the way the economy is. Also, we both have very specific ideas of how we want things and it won't be cheap. For instance, the fieldstone fireplace will be built using some of our own rocks we've mined, such as pink & white quartz , schorl (black tourmaline), and amethyst. Because we are using some of our own rocks, we are getting a deal of $15K for the fireplace and we traded loam for landscaping work so that is saving $3 - 4K .

1. & 2. Most of you know what my back forty looks/looked like...a big a** field.
3. & 4. Not anymore.....things are changing.
5. The foundation is poured, they are coming back tomorrow to do the floors. :)
