The next week there was another one in the nest also with egg in belly. Got rid of that one too. 2 mornings ago I came upon this one on my back porch where my 4 week old chicks were being kept. After eating one of my chicks it could no longer squeeze out of the cage and yes I got rid of it. I've been on this property for 3 years and have only seen one rat snake but this year there seem to be a lot more.
