One or two of her flushes turned slightly apricot. I didn't find it any harder to grow than other Brugs nor any "buggier", but I did discover that it prefers to be a little drier than most other Brugs. You didn't mention how you are growing it. So it's difficult to make any recommendations. Is it growing in the ground or in a pot? If in a pot, how large a pot? How long since you transplanted it or replaced the growing medium? I have no choice but to use Miracle Grow potting mix, but alone it retains too much water so I add generous amounts of perlite — about a 5-gal sized can of perlite for every 2-1/2 cubic foot bag. When it is growing actively, how often do you fertilize? How much sunlight is it getting? This is what my Creamsickle looked like in bloom: Sadly, I lost her to heat, drought and lack of humdity last year. |
