The first bud on the reblooming iris bloomed today, but there are at least 5 more buds ready to burst. It had been a bit damaged by a light frost, but pretty to see. So weird. Deer ate one bud last night. It is Tall Bearded Iris 'Harvest of Memories'.

Still lots of roses on many bushes, but old Rosa New Dawn is pumping them out.

I dug up the canna today as they finally got a touch of frost and have stored them for the winter. I planted them too late last summer so blooms were minimal. I will start them off inside this spring if I remember them squirreled away in the crawl space which I didn't last spring. Patti
