Irene was hideous. We lost three trees, suffered a totally crushed Crape Myrtle that was 20 years old (but it is bouncing back) and lost so many branches on the Tardiva hydrangea. They evacuated most of the south shore - they got hit much worse than we did. At least we didn't have a drop of water in the basement.
