That is essentially what we have. We do have a pump that empties into the bog and then there are 3 other waterfalls. We used water celery, with the fibrous roots, they do catch a lot of crud. Water celery does do the job, but because of how invasive water celery is, I would not use WC again. The bio bog, does do the trick for us. This in conjunction with the uv lights, goes a long way to keeping the water clear.....
