The next few photo's are from a garden down by Poipou that is a National Botanical Garden it's called Allerton Gardens. The land was on a Queens land who had been instrumental in gathering plants from all over Tropical locations in the world. She brought Bougenvillia (sp?) in many colors to Kaui. It is here to where they have groves of Palms and trees and it's all cataloged and tracked.
Down at a beach is her summer home which is still maintained and rented for special occasions.
This garden was also used in movies like Pirates of the Caribbean and Jurasic Park. The tree root where the boy found the raptors eggs is a grove of three with very wild roots.
