I try not to have any plants in the house at all. They harbor bugs here - I mean, you know, THOSE bugs - i.e. roaches and ants. Anywhere dark and moist . . . It's not a problem in summer, when it's cold and dry in the house they don't want to be indoors. But in winter, when I have the windows and doors open all the time, they 'migrate' indoors because it's warmer in the house.
