I have used rain barrels, well water, and placed an 18" deep, 5' wide, preformed, plastic pond liner into soil where evparation water from my Air Conditioner drops into it. I have a continual water supply from this source. I have used it all summer on my raised flower beds, successfully.
Neil Sperry suggests that we continue our watering into the Fall/Winter season, also.
