I cannot tell you how many times DH and I have been to our local hardware store looking for an item that will suit our purpose, which with the pond is different than the original use of that product. When we go to this hardware store, the people that work there will ask what we are trying to accomplish and seem to enjoy the fact that we are trying to manufacture a solution to whatever it is we are trying to surmount.
