Yes, my begonias are in the ground. I have that long east side bed that I haven't done a thing with yet, under the shade of a huge old live oak. I've been leaving the leaves in the beds for years as mulch, so the soil seems to agree with the begonias really well. We'll see how they fare through winter. It's pretty protected in there.

This looks to me like I could just pin the stem down at the node and this little plantlet would root, yes? It's even got a root or two starting already. Should I cut the stem and root the plantlets separately, or leave them on the mother?
