Patti, what kind of magnolia are you looking for? I have been wishing for a miniature sieboldii but I only find cultivars with names like "Colossus." I do admire the plants on the Rarefind Nursery list. We treasure our magnolia "Betty" in spite of the wait until it settled enough to give us a show. I have also corresponded with northern gardeners who are grandiflora enthusiasts. Here's one of my baby Brackens BB. I'm too cheap to pay a lot and possibly have it croak. This one may have to overwinter in a makeshift greenhouse.
