We are battling nut grass as always, but not so much in the old veggie, but the new area and some other fairly new beds. Hate that stuff. We had a good rain last night, spoiled some of the DL blossoms, but was great for the veggie beds.

Any body else trying to grow fennel bulbs? Love them, but never get huge bulbs like I can buy at the market. I am going to try to mound them up as they form to hopefully get them bigger like you do for potatoes. Sadly our Peaches look lousy again this year. Patti
