I am responding to your Post #8578571 above with the beautiful deep blue clematis. Are you able to grow these shrubs in Florida despite the nematodes in the soil? Where did you get the plant? I have been trying to establish some clematis in my lawn in Tennessee for two years now. Some have died and some have flourished. Here is a picture of a red one that had done well. It is Rouge Cardinal.
